Marilyn Smyth
Marilyn Lauretta Smyth Bellin is the daughter of Harvey Smyth and the cousin of Loraine Currie.
She married Doug Bellin on 29 December 1966 at Saint Luke's Anglican Church in Thunder Bay. [This church was apparently formerly located at 205 Cameron Street but closed permanently with its final service on 2 August 2018] [1]
As of 2020 they have had two children and one grandchild.
Ron Currie taught Marilyn's daughter at one point.
As of 2020 they are "living the dream" as she says, in Cloud Bay, a small bay south of Thunder Bay, on the shore of Lake Superior in the Municipality of Neebing, Ontario. Their house is located at coordinates 48.082717, -89.420462. It was built in June 2019. Previously, the same site was occupied by "a garage and bunkie, shed, boat and 3 trailers. [Marilyn and Doug] had one, our daughter had one and Ryan’s double snowmobile trailer. And our dock."
She was widowed in April 2022 with the unexpected death of her husband due to complications from surgery in Toronto.
