Dan Griffiths
Dan Griffiths, born 2 January 1938, is a Welsh man and genealogy enthusiast.
Early life
Dan was born 2 January 1938 to David Reese Griffiths. His grandmother was the prolific Bessie Griffiths, who had 11 children.
Relationship to Michael
Dan and Michael are second cousins once removed:
Henry True -> Bessie Griffiths -> David Reese Griffiths -> Dan
Henry True -> Rose Cooke -> Lucy Currie -> Ron Currie -> Michael
Thus Michael's paternal grandmother Lucy's mother Rose, and Dan's paternal grandmother Bessie were sisters. This makes Michael's father Ron Currie and Dan second cousins.
Michael was visited by him as a child, on 23 May 1992, at Surprise Lake. Then, while living in Oxford on a summer work term, he spent a weekend in June 2002 in Wales being shown around by Griffiths.
