In fact, how many siblings did Alex have? His father John's obituary lists:

"Ten children were horn to Mr. and Mrs, Currie. four of whom died in infancy, and one, John, about twelve years ago. Those living are Walter at Worcester, Mass.; Christena (Mrs. Ed Lemaistre) Almonte ; Mary (Mrs. R. J. Neilly at Arnprior; Alex., at Gravel, on the C.F.R., and Grace and Jessie at home. There are also thirteen grandchildren."

At the time, in 1911, Alex was 21, Grace was 25, Mary 26, Walter 28, Christena 30. I have no record of a "Jessie" in your family tree, uncle Bill, nor in yours, Marilyn! And in fact that would make for 11 children which is inconsistent with the obituary itself.

Mary Ridell's obituary in 1929 also lists a Jessie among her daughters (unmarried):
