Joanne Foot
Joanne Foot (born 29 July 1957) is a Canadian lawyer.
Early life
Foot was born 29 July 1957 and adopted by Rosalind and Dennis Foot. Her adopted mother is the sister of Lucy Currie.
Education
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of Western Ontario in 1978.
She earned her LLB, Law from Univeristy of Western Ontario in 1981. She was on the Dean's List.
Career
She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1983, following which she clerked for the Justices of the Court of Appeal of Ontario from 1983 to 1984.
Joanne then went into private practice, specializing in corporate law. She was partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP from June 1987 to November 2010. She was then partner at Miller Thomson LLP from 2010 to 2012.

She currently serves as member of the Administrative Penalty Tribunal at the City of Toronto, on a 4-year term from 26 May 2017 to 27 May 2021.

Joanne Foot has lived in Toronto for most of her life and is proud of her city.
