Nancy was a daughter of Grace McDonald.
She had two children John Tsombakos and Mark Tsombakos.
Nancy J. (McDonald) Tsombakos of Shrewsbury died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, retired school teacher, John Tsombakos; two sons, John Tsombakos of Spencer and Mark Tsombakos and his wife, Lynne Flanagan of Grafton; two grandchildren, Cara and Andrew; and two nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Devlin.
Nancy was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Currie) McDonald.
A retiree of the Paul Revere Insurance Company, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and exploring the family tree.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 4-6 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. A service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Heart Association
