Kim Hansen
Kim Hansen (28 August 1953 - 12 December 2019) was a theatre director, actor, and producer, with a long career based in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Kim's Father
Kim's father Tor Hansen was born 20 September 1921 in Oslo, Norway. In 1928 or 1929 he immigrated to Canada with his family at the age of six. His formative years were spent in Fort William where he attended Francis Street Elementary and Selkirk Vocational High School. [1].
Tor's artistic talents were often called upon to assist many local arts groups with set design and construction, making him a valued contributor to the Fort William Little Theatre, and Cambrian Players.
With his first wife June Hansen, Tor had a child, Kim, in 1953. Tor remarried to Maureen McMillan (Moe) in 1974. Tor died 25 July 2016, but his obituary does not mention his son Kim or his first wife June, surprisingly.
