Death

It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Bryan Ogden announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on December 7, 2007.

Predeceased by his mother Irene[1], his father Arthur[2] and his stepmother Beatrice[3], he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Elsie[4], his daughter, Deborah[5], his son-in-law, Brent[6] and his precious grandson, Logan[7].

Bryan retired from CN Rail after 39 years of service and then built a small business of Income Tax preparation. He enjoyed both careers immensely - the comradery of his peers at CN and the meeting of many wonderful people while doing taxes.

He was a gentle giant who always put his family first and was a wonderful caring husband, father and grandfather. He constantly reminded us to "Think Positive". We will sorely miss his guidance.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bryan's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
