". John Cooke and Rosetta True wedding photo (1904) with Rosetta’s father (patriarch on the right), with Rosetta’s sisters Lucy and Edith (I’m guessing) and a couple of flower girls (again, guessing) and two men and a woman (mother??, John’s mother and father?) I won’t guess at (although, speculation, somehow related (best man and ?)). You can still find the house on the left using Google street view." - Bill Currie
Source of the picture, according to Dan Griffiths in Feb 2026, was Rosalind Foot, who gave it to him in 1992 in Toronto before he travelled north to meet Jack and Lucy.
He noted the man in the top hat is Albert George, who married Annie Martill in 1899, and noted that Albert George's granddaughter Pamela Palmer (b. 1950) in Bunbury, Western Australia, had sent Griffiths lots of information (last contact December 2022)
" It was taken at the side of Fonthill House ,where they were living at the time,Albert George the one with the top hat was married to Annie Martill in 1899 .His grand daughter Pamela palmer b 1950 sent me lots of info, the last message was in Dec 2022 from 20 Timperley Rd Bunbury 6230 w.Australia .The photo was sent to me by Rosamond in Toronto when we visited her before going on to Thunder Bay to visit Lucy and Jack . It was hanging up in her lounge and the first time it was seen by family back home." - Dan Griffiths, Feb 2026
